With extensive expertise gained from working with a broad range of industrial clients, TS Metals deliver solutions for finished products through to engineering support for complex, turnkey, engineering projects.

Whether involved from the project infancy stage assisting with prototype development, or dealing with the intricacies of bespoke, one-off components through to batch manufacture, TS Metals can handle metal constructions up to 35 tonnes – efficiently and cost effectively. An experienced team of sheet metal engineers, fabricators and coded welders provide a wide range of solutions specifically tailored to meet client specifications.

Laser Profiling

Investment in state of the art laser cutting facilities allows us to work with material from 0.10mm to 20mm in thickness and with a working area of 3000 x 1500mm we can provide exceptionally fast as well as accurate processing of the thinnest of materials, specifically electrical lamination steel.

Our current cutting capacity:-

• Up to 20mm mild steel (stock) 
• Up to 20mm stainless steel
• Up to 20mm aluminium
• Up to 8mm brass or copper

We can import DXF geometry files or generate our own using an integrated CAD/CAM system or reverse engineer if required.

We can work with you on one-off bespoke projects, prototype development through to batch production.

Welding & Fabrication

With 20,000 sq.ft of workshop space we can easily handle fabrications of any size and configuration, working within a 10 tons individual component crane lift.

We offer MIG, TIG, Spot & Arc welding and fabrication to bespoke specifications.

Rolling, bending, shearing, forming, drilling and tapping form part of the overall services we offer.

In summary, TS Metals can support you with:-

• Sheet metal work; with materials from 0.1mm thick up to 6mm 
• Fabrication services; with materials from 6mm up to 150mm in thickness

We have a dedicated team of time-served, skilled sheet metal workers and fabricators along with coded welders working to weld procedures ASME and CSWIP Level 3.

NDT Services

With an absolute commitment to quality in everything we do, TS Metals can offer both MPI & DYE PENETRANT inspection of welds in-house, to a standard of Level 2 PCN.

Finishing Services

A range of finishing services can be provided including;.

• abrasive grit blasting to SA 2.5 standard and painting completed to client specification (up to marine standard)
• industrial shot blasting (booth size of 6m x 4.8m x 3.5m)
• industrial painting, offering wet spray (powder coating on request)
• zinc plating and stress relieving
