And at Chapman House, one of the four residential tower blocks of the Chapel Wharf development in Manchester, we’ve helped make the designers vision come to life!

The new ‘Consigners’ entrance hub has just completed final handover; designed for resident use only and bringing a different vibe and experience to those who choose city living.

Quartzelec has worked extensively on the Chapel Wharf development in Manchester and whilst residents are already enjoying the new space and apartments across the four blocks, there are still ongoing projects all designed to further enhance the living experience of the Dandara development. This two-storey reception hub now offers intimate chill-out spaces to relax and meet others with more formal areas designed to be used for more professional/work meetings.

There is also a full kitchen area, with dining table allowing onsite cooking and entertainment on a larger scale to take advantage of. 

For this unique initiative, Quartzelec has taken the lead in designing and installing Wi-Fi controlled energy saving LED lighting throughout, along with numerous bespoke decorative lighting pieces which have all been specified to give this common area a practical but welcoming setting, with lighting focus on key areas.

The Residential hub also benefits from commercial cooking facilities to the upper floor which can be used by guest ‘chefs’ during events. “Bring me lockers” have been installed offering secure storage for resident deliveries with access being offered per delivery by a unique security code.

The whole area is served with ventilation, cooling and heating by way of energy efficient ceiling mounted air conditioning systems, with the occasional decorative panel timed panel heaters to allow local heat if required. The area is covered as part of the site wide security and fire alarm systems by a number of 4 megapixel IP cameras, giving live feeds back to the residents consigners staff, and also offering play back and review of any unforeseen events. Again, electrically supported by Quartzelec.
