Quartzelec’s Aberdeen facility support local youth football teams

A £200 donation was given to provide a range of training support kit including; footballs, ball bags and a fully kitted out medical bag.
As with most youth sports clubs they rely on the generosity and support of the local community to ensure they can continue to run. This includes the parents who step up to coach and run the club and local businesses that can provide some monetary support to ensure much needed training equipment is provided.
Colin Nicol – Regional Sales Engineer from Quartzelec Aberdeen is an official coach for Thistle Youth. He has put himself through the necessary training, essentially volunteering to help ensure the club’s survival.
Colin commented “it’s fantastic to be able to support grass roots sports in our local area and I can only say thank you for the donation for kit which will make a huge difference to our small club”
Scott Dickie – Head Coach also commented, the players and coaches are extremely grateful to Quartzelec for their support with particular thanks to Colin and Chris Fergus from Quartzelec for arranging the equipment.
