Quartzelec Supports Foodbanks Worldwide Through CanStruction Initiative

This year, teams across Quartzelec took part in the GLOBAL CanStruction challenge, bringing colleagues together through a shared commitment to creativity, sustainability, and community support.

CanStruction is an initiative that involves building creative structures entirely from food tins, transforming everyday materials into symbols of community impact. This year, teams were challenged to design creations that would spark awareness of sustainability while directly supporting local foodbanks, combining innovation, teamwork, and social responsibility.

From turtles to bee hives, each creation brought the theme of “A Greener Future” to life, showcasing the creativity and commitment of teams across the organisation.

Through this global initiative, #QuartzelecPeople collected an incredible 1,800 cans, all of which have been donated to local foodbanks and charities, supporting communities around the world.

Business units thoroughly enjoyed taking part, with teamwork, innovation, and generosity shining through.
