JIB Approved Electrician
Due to continued growth, we are looking for motivated and skilled JIB Approved Electricians to join our Manchester M&E team. You will take on significant on-site responsibility and play a key role in delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on role suited to electricians who take pride in their work and are flexible in supporting customer and project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
As a JIB Approved Electrician, you will play a critical role within our Manchester team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and testing works in line with drawings and scopes of work
- Work independently and competently from technical drawings and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with BS 7671:2018 and current electrical regulations
- Take ownership of on-site tasks, maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Support project deadlines, including working overtime when required
- Travel and work away from home for periods, depending on project needs
- Work effectively with site teams, management, and other trades
Your skills and experiences:
- Time-served Electrician within electrical engineering
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar electrical role
- JIB Approved Electrician status
- 18th Edition qualified
- C&G 2391 (or equivalent) Testing & Inspection qualification
- Good working knowledge of BS 7671:2018 and Guidance Note 3
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
